EC Procurement Legislation
Public and utility procurement throughout the European Community is subject to a complex set of regulations. The European Community have set rules for the Utilities, and another set of rules for the Public Sector when purchasing works, supplies and services. Both sets of rules lay down detailed procedures for awarding contracts that change as new legislation is introduced and court verdicts set new precedents for the interpretation of the existing legislation.

Official Journal Notification System
This online service from Achilles is fully compliant with the Official Journals notification system. As an approved e-sender, using Achilles system, notices are published within 5 days and timescale discounts can be taken were appropriate.
This free system uses the most recent standard notices. It allows you to compile notices online and submit them to the Official Journal of the European Union from your desktop. There is help text against each field to help you complete your notice.
Other functionality includes the facility to search the Official Journals database of published notices, report on contract award notices, view and search for CPV, CPC and Nace codes along with setting up profile fields for easy use.
EC Training
Achilles offer of EC training programmes to complement their other EC service. In-house course, tailored to suit your individual needs, sector specific conference and training sessions or open course are run by Achilles.
