Places going fast for first-ever Achilles Global User Conference
Demand for Achilles' first-ever international conference for customers (buyers) in central London this spring is on the up - and organisers are encouraging would-be delegates to make sure of their place by booking early.

Managing risk in the supply chain, sustainable procurement in action, CSR issues and procurement best practice are all included on the menu for the two-day Global User Conference, which takes place on April 9-10. There will also be workshops and round table sessions, with a special focus on the oil and gas, construction, utility and transport sectors.

Speakers already lined up to take part in the event include senior representatives from a range of companies - including BP, Chilean mining company Codelco, Deutche Telecom, Endesa, Metro de Madrid, StatoilHydro, Skanska and the universities of Oxford and Nottingham.

The conference is designed to meet the needs of Achilles' existing customers around the world, and will provide an ideal opportunity not only to learn more about the current issues that face today's procurement professionals, but also to network and share best practice.
