Quality Management System
In December 2006 Achilles Information Limited was successful in extending the scope of its BS EN ISO 9001:2000 certification to include its Aberdeen operations. Achilles Head office in Abingdon was first awarded its certificate of registration by BSI in November 2000.
The British Standards Institution (BSI) is one of the world's leading standards and quality services organisations. Formed in 1901 and incorporated under Royal Charter in 1929, BSI is the oldest national standards body in the world.
Extension of its certification to its Aberdeen office further underlines the company's continued determination to provide all its customers with assurance that they will receive the highest standards of service.
The scope of the certification covers: the operation and management of online supplier and purchaser information systems including, pre-qualification, qualification and verification, EU procurement and compliance information, contract opportunities notification and contract management, to a wide range of industries and public sectors. This is a positive indication of the company's determination to maintain its position as a leading provider of procurement support services.
